DECEMBER 15, 2004 - The Orange County Philharmonic Society played host to Nati Cano, Mariachi Los Camperos and Headliner, VIKKI CARR, at their annual ‘Fiesta Navidad’. Nati and Los Camperos were great as always, but the night really began when VIKKI TOOK CENTER STAGE. She once again proved that you don’t have to speak Spanish to love her and her music. At this point I have to be honest and admit to missing part of her performance. As she concluded with (Name of song), I passed out from lack of oxygen. But I know it was great because she was still holding that last note when I came to.

After Vikki’s exit, to a long and very loud ovation, Mr. Cano brought her back on stage and she sang ‘White Christmas’, acappella. You think that was Bing’s song; think again! Then with a member of the Los Camperos, the two sang in Spanish and English ‘O Holy Night’ and ‘Silent Night’. VIKKI looked beautiful and her voice was absolutely scintillating. It was an unbelievable evening with an unbelievable voice and personality. In short, there’s VIKKI CARR and then there’s all the rest. I thank God for you and your talents and I thank you, VIKKI, for sharing those talents and yourself with us.
