radio, television, film and theater. Her music
embraces two languages and she is among the first
artists to bridge the cultures of the United States

concert benefiting musicians and opera to be held at the Majestic Theater-
WHAT:
San Antonio Opera presents Vikki
Carr’s Night in Vienna New Year’s Eve Concert
on December 31, 2007 at the Majestic Theatre. Join the San Antonio Opera
Orchestra and members of the San Antonio Symphony in a traditional concert of
Viennese waltzes and marches. San Antonio’s own Vikki Carr will add to
the celebration with a special performance of her greatest hits.In addition,
one of San Antonio Opera's visiting conductors, Frank Graffeo, will be leading
the orchestra through the performance. Graffeo, served as the general director
of the Knoxville Opera from 2000-2005. The
event is underwritten by the Russell Hill Rogers Fund for the Arts.
An elegant pre-concert dinner and festive
post-concert package at the Sheraton Gunter Hotel ballroom is available for
$100.00 per person, not including concert ticket. Special hotel room
